children's records

Have you tried listening to records with your littles?  It's one of my favorite things.  We have a record player I bought for Chip a few years back, and over time I have collected a few children's albums from vintage shops and etsy.  The girls love them, and it's so fun to watch them either cuddled up on the couch, completely enthralled with the story, or dancing around the room, acting out the parts and pretending to be a part of it.  It's such a great option for non-screen, lo-fi entertainment, and it kind of feels like it takes you back in time.  If you haven't tried it, go for it - you may be surprised at how much they love it, and the old records are just the sweetest!  You can also find lots of old Disney records of favorite movies - the girls adore RobinHood.  It's fun for date nights, too; cozying up in front of the fireplace and listen to a favorite album is so romantical!
