Have you seen that Society6 is now offering tapestries?  It's a pretty great option for some art, because they are huge (the small size is 51" x 60"!) and quite affordable (again, the small size is $39!).  You could either simply tack them up, or mount them to small pieces of trim and hang them banner style.  Here is a room inspired by one of the tapestries as well as this pin from one of my favorite pinterest boards.  I love those subtle, muted pinks and minty blues along with small, polished pops of lipstick red.
