Have you seen all the new goodness just launched today over at The Land of Nod? I love their new collaboration with Ducduc and the stunning cribs and dressers! Here is a board featuring some of the new items out for fall – definitely check it out.
I love this lumberjack nursery created by Emily for her son, Asher. She is a military wife and they live in base housing, so she was a bit limited in what she could do to re-invent the space, but I think she did a fantastic job of making the room feel bright and cheery, and I love the clean, modern spin she put on the lumberjack feel. Be sure to check out her blog, with a few more pictures and a list of sources for all the sweetness in the room. If you are loving the lumberjack idea, also check out this Paul Bunyan board and this Lumberjack board for more inspiration.
Today I have a giveaway from the very talented Alyssa Nassner of Small Talk Studio. I have admired her work for quite awhile, and she has recently published two Montessori books that contain her darling illustrations! This giveaway includes one 13″ x 19″ print from her shop, as well as a copy of each of her books! To enter, just leave a comment below, and the winner will be drawn at random and announced next Wednesday, October 31st.
I keep getting requests from many of you for ideas on how to put baby + older sibling or two toddlers in a room together. I’m hoping to start giving some inspiration to those of you in need of it on BHG (and here, too – but I thought that might be a good place to start!). Be sure to check out yesterday’s post for older sister and baby brother. Really, though, this happy palette can skew as neutral or girly/boyish as you like. Also, don’t forget to enter the Jenny Lind crib giveaway – you don’t want to miss that!
I love this color combination! For extra fun, check out my favorite 100 Layer Cake today. As I was finishing up this post, I checked to see what was new and was delighted to find they have similar colors on their mind. If you are looking for some fab party inspiration as well as room ideas, you are in luck. Unfortunately that beautiful dresser isn’t available any longer, but I love the glossy yellow finish, and think it would be the perfect way to give a facelift to an old piece with lovely lines.
