Lay Baby Lay - Nursery Inspiration & Delights!

I love this lumberjack nursery created by Emily for her son, Asher.  She is a military wife and they live in base housing, so she was a bit limited in what she could do to re-invent the space, but I think she did a fantastic job of making the room feel bright and cheery, and I love the clean, modern spin she put on the lumberjack feel.  Be sure to check out her blog, with a few more pictures and a list of sources for all the sweetness in the room.  If you are loving the lumberjack idea, also check out this Paul Bunyan board and this Lumberjack board for more inspiration.

I love this color combination!  For extra fun, check out my favorite 100 Layer Cake today.  As I was finishing up this post, I checked to see what was new and was delighted to find they have similar colors on their mind.  If you are looking for some fab party inspiration as well as room ideas, you are in luck.  Unfortunately that beautiful dresser isn’t available any longer, but I love the glossy yellow finish, and think it would be the perfect way to give a facelift to an old piece with lovely lines.
