a basement workspace
I'm working on a project with HP Sprout, a really fun, versatile creative tool, and I needed to put together a little workspace for the station to sit. Plus, I just thought it would be nice to have a better workspace to use other than say, well, my sofa. This was my effort to pull something together with what I had on hand. I bought that vintage desk with my dad when I was just out of college and in need of a desk, and that chair is one he found while he was in college. I've had them put to the side in an extra bedroom/storage space in the basement, under a lot of craft supplies, so I pulled those pieces out and painted them all white to freshen it up a bit, and printed out one of my favorite childhood photos really large.
I stole this little wall space from the basement playroom, which I'm in the process up updating a little. The white walls make it feel so much brighter and happier down there! That neutral garland can be found at Hanna Andersson, as well as those fun pink triangle decals. We have been having fun playing on the Sprout, and I look forward to sharing what we have created here soon!
