DIY dress up hook
Here is a fun, quick project to add a pop to bedroom walls. It's simple and quick if you have a little confidence with the jigsaw!
What you need:
plywood (I used 1/2" birch) | jigsaw | acrylic paint + brushes | wooden knobs | picture hanging hardware for back of piece
(sources for other items: be mine ribbon; mint fairy dress; peacock fairy dress; purple headband)
Sketch your design onto paper. I just freehanded a rainbow, and lined up the bottom with the flat edge of the wood to make it simpler. Then draw it again onto the plywood (it doesn't have to be perfect, so don't stress!). Cut it out with the jigsaw, sand the edges, and paint your design.
Next, mark where you want the knobs to go, drill holes and install them. Add hanging hardware to the back and use!
It's perfect for dresses, necklaces, headbands, accessories, whatever! It's also a cheery spot to hang raincoats or jackets during dreary fall and winter days. I added a little face for fun, but it would also be cute without!
Hope you are inspired! Happy Friday!!
