Here is an update on Vivi's favorite things at 21 months! That "bedtime book" is one I had as a child, and my parents bought her a copy. Although it was in mint condition when we received it, the front and back covers have been re-attached with tape, and at least four pages have been repaired. It is her absolute favorite; I think part of the charm is the size and the real pages that are easy for her to turn. She has it memorized, and we read it nightly. She also loves post-its. I keep several packs in my bag, and when we go out to eat, I give her a few to color. She draws little "notes" and enjoys handing them out and sticking them all over the table (a good way to pass the time!). The booster seat has also been a great addition. I was totally not thinking about the transition from the high chair, and one day it all of the sudden seemed she was too large for the high chair and she no longer enjoyed sitting in it, so I made a Target dash and bought the one above. It is so fun to feel like she is really part of the table now! I also love the Live Clean Baby soap. They sent me samples a few weeks ago, and I'm completely converted. The smell is amazing, and it lingers in Vivi's hair for days (I usually wash her very curly hair every three to four days, and it's so wonderful for it to keep smelling sweet after all her toddler adventures!). Lastly, weelicious.com is one of my new favorite recipe sites. I was in desperate need of some toddler recipe inspiration for lunches and snacks, and she has some fantastic homemade options to replace packaged goodies. Vivi has loved the spinach muffins, the zucchini bread, and the fig bars! There are lots of other things I want to try, too!
