Mary Catherine emailed asking for ideas to inspire her friend Jessica, who is expecting a baby girl in February.  Jessica is a calculus teacher, and her husband is a scientist, so she wanted something with a technical twist.  She plans to paint the nursery navy, and already has white furniture, and doesn't want anything too girly, so above are some ideas to further accent the room.  The furniture shown above has nice geometric shapes for a clean feel, but a white Jenny Lind crib would be a sweet, economical addition since the  Sparrow crib is a bit pricey.  I love that metal and glass shelf - what a fun way to display treasures found on backyard adventures as baby grows and explores!
