the indie craft experience
On Sunday, after all the birthday craziness, we went to the Indie Craft Experience, a two day handmade fest here in Atlanta. It was such a fun outing, and I loved getting to meet some of the artists behind the beautiful crafts. Above are a few highlights. I was really excited to meet the artists behind Marisol Spoon, whose work I frequently admire on Etsy. They are a darling husband and wife team, and the paintings and prints are just as gorgeous in person as I would expect. Those stockings from Yes, Please. Studio are super sweet, and I regret I didn't go back to purchase a few for our mantel! Be sure to check out the cuteness from Owlette Collective - the pretend play dinosaur tails are adorable (I didn't see them in her etsy shop, but you can email her about them). I bought a couple of Christmas gifts from Jeanette Zeis Ceramics (whose personalized cupcake stands I featured awhile back). Her ceramics are beautifully detailed and would make great keepsakes. We topped the whole thing off with popsicles from the King of Pops and Vivi loved the fresh peach flavor.
{Unfortunately, In the Clouds Design does not have an Etsy shop up yet, but you can email them(inthecloudsdesign@gmail.com) about the adorable pillows - they had some really fantastic fabric options!}
