So, have you heard of BabyList?  It's a great way to compile your baby registry.  Instead of having to create separate registries for different retailers, you can have one list and add items from any online retailer that you wish!  It is super easy, kind of like pinning (which I never do - hopefully I'll start one day.  My apologies to those of you who follow me!), and you can even type in comments for each item.  Check out Lay Baby Lay's sample registry here.  It contains some of my favorite items, and some wish list items.  It is by no means comprehensive, but I tried to hit the highlights of some things I found indispensable.  Check it out, and think about making your own - it's so nice to not be limited to the box box stores!
