Creating an Outdoor Space for Kids on the Porch

This post is sponsored by Walmart.

I recently did a little refresh on our back porch, and I’ve been loving it, but last week I added in a little corner for the girls. Last time I was at Walmart, I spotted these adorable egg chairs in the garden section. They are so perfectly kid sized, and I ended up snagging two of them to add to the porch. (Now I kind of want the big version for myself, because they are so fun!)

Paired with these outdoor poufs from Walmart (they are so generously sized, and I love the pom pom detail!), they make for a super cozy spot, and I love that the poufs also double as extra seating when we are hanging out on the porch together.

I love how the navy goes so well together in both pieces, and looks so summery!

I also have this wooden tray from Walmart, and couldn’t resist this coordinating pedestal tray - it is great for kid snacks, but is perfect for a cheese tray, too. Those two side tables are also from the garden section, and are super easy to move around when entertaining as perches for drinks or snacks.

With a fantastic array of items for a porch refresh, or to finish up any room, Walmart home has a great selection. I especially love Drew Barrymore’s line, and the extensive collection of planters that are great for sprucing up a patio. Be sure to check out Walmart’s Home Collection here.
