A few of Vivi’s current favorites!  (Sticking her tongue out is also her favorite!)  The zany zoo toy is really great now that she is sitting.  With four different sides to play with, and a fairly non-obtrusive color scheme, I love it, too!  I think it will grow with her as well, since there is a top she can reach once she starts pulling up.  The toy is recommended for older babies, so she just plays with the maracas and the zany zoo when I am watching her closely.  The blackout curtains are a recent addition, and have made such a difference for her.  She started teething at 5 1/2 months, and began sleeping more lightly, so they seem to really help soothe her at bedtime and she sleeps longer for her naps, too!

    We just bought that Zany Zoo too! Our daughter is only 2 months, but we thought it was so cute and loved the colors, so we just got it early. :)

    We have the Zany Zoo for our 10 month old and we love it too! I bought it after a playdate where the baby AND his older brother were both playing with it. I’m hoping it will retain its appeal for at least a couple years. 

    Oh, and I’m sure you’ve figured this out already, but even though it’s the perfect height for pulling up, it’s not very stable. I just hold it down for our son and let him pull up on it, but we’re very careful about keeping away from him when we’re not right there.

    I love these posts about Vivi. I have a daughter just a tiny bit older (she was 8 months on July 2), so it’s fun to see someone else’s baby in the same stages. She’s a cutie!
