Nursery Inspiration Board; Baby Girl Nursery Inspiration Board

I don’t ever go for purple – but I found that dresser to be very inspiring, and it would make a darling changing table!  This board reminds me of a unicorn clipboard I had in elementary school from a place called “You Name It.”  They would put your name in bubble letters on anything using a paint pen, and it was quite the hot spot at the time.  I loved my clear clipboard with the purple and pink unicorn.  I’m pretty certain I still have it somewhere here at the house!

    Love.It.All. Perfect!

Oh, I’m in love. It’s magical and I’m not a big purple lover either but it’s great in this combination with the warmth of the colors in the crib and cool aquas. So pretty!

I can see that clipboard right now! And I think this style board fits it PERFECTLY. :) I’m so grateful (and a teensy bit proud) that I’ll be one of the few people who can say, “I’ve been friends with her since kindergarten,” when you become big and famous! Please hire me as your personal assistant when you do. :)

Thanks so much!  Aww, so fun that you have a Vivi, too! I love Serena & Lily bedding – the “think pink” bedding would be sweet: http://www.serenaandlily.com/Bedding/Girls-Bedding-Think-Pink

Very pretty. Some similar colors in my 9 yo bedroom that I’d like to update. She has a light lavender on the walls which I’d like to keep. What wall color would you use for this idea board?

Hi there!  I think a light aqua/blue like Benjamin Moore’s “light mint” or “misty teal” would be really pretty, or if you want to go lavender, “lavender ice” would be sweet.

Gorgeous! My daughter told me she wants a purple bedroom in our new house so I am definitely appreciating this for an inspiration piece.

I’m loving this! Esp. the paint colors what are they?  My soon to be 4 year old wants a Lavender room (she loves purple)  but I wanted it to be colorful and grow with her too.  I’m a DIY’er so this would be fun for me to spray paint frames and things for her room. Maybe even recreate the art work and things.  I love your blog!

Hi Karin!  I’d recommend Benjamin Moore’s Lavender Mist for the purple, Benjamin Moore’s Baby Green for the sea foam, and Benjamin Moore’s Jamaican Aqua for the blue/aqua color.   For the pink, I’d recommend Pink Sea Shell.  I’d be sure to get swatches or samples of the colors to test to make sure you are happy with them!  Thanks so much, and I hope the room comes together perfectly for you!
