I was reading last night about Joanna Goddard's balance of work/baby/life on her blog, and she mentioned a passage from Peter Pan about Wendy's delight in watching her parents go out together.  I tried to find it, and I'm guessing the above is what she meant - so inspiring!   Although it's not quite as easy to do post baby, I find going on dates to be even more special than they were before Vivi's arrival.  I love when Chip plays with Vivi while I get dressed.  It's an indulgence to take my time getting ready (a rarity these days!), and making the moments count during our time together is such a treat.  So here is to 2012, may we all take time to love our fellas this year and find time to make them feel special - and make our little ones feel happy and secure in return.
