Have you heard of Pretty Pegs?  They have been around for a little while, and I've always crushed on their beautiful legs to spruce up an Ikea sofa with the clean and happy Scandinavian designs.  Recently, they launched a line of coffee table legs, and I was all too happy to try them.

I went with the Otto legs in pink, and Chip fashioned a top out of birch plywood.  This table is going to go in the den (we need a table without corners in that tighter space!), but that room is in a bit of an upheaval right now, so I photographed it in the living room.

Chip cut the 3/4" plywood in an oval, polished it smooth with a sander, stained it and then added several coats of protective lacquer, which made for  a super easy and quick table.  The legs plus the plywood is less than $100, which isn't bad for a custom coffee table.

Also, just for fun, here are a couple of my favorite new vintage finds: this bowl above, shaped like a leaf in a mint green color with gold flecks and this hexagonal mirror which was a steal for $10.  I'm loving the clean and simple mantel right now before we add on the holiday cheer.

Thanks to Pretty Pegs for letting us try out their beautiful legs; they were so simple and easy to use, and I'm going to have to find more opportunities to use them to add life to pieces that need a little lift!
