Baby Nursery Inspiration; Name Bunting

Not that anyone needs another bunting tutorial, but I had fun making this one for Vivi.  I had it on my list for a long time and was not able to get to it until a week or so before her due date.  Being that I wasn’t in any condition or state of mind for a tedious sewing project, I cheated and used the printer to create the letters and then spray mounted each letter to cardstock and added a coat of varnish for longevity before stitching them to the fabric cord.  The bunting was perfect to hang on the door at the hospital, and is now displayed on her crib.

Thank you Joni. So many times I wonder the “how to” part of your work, I will definitely use this idea when it’s my turn. :)

Hey Joni! Love this idea! Thanks for sharing! I will definitely be doing this for my sister-in-law’s shower coming up! Do you mind if I ask what font you used for the letters?? Thanks!

Can I ask what font you used for this?

hi Joni- I’m going to make this for my daughter’s 1st birthday in August. I want to make a happy birthday sign along with her name. Do you think I can use the sewing machine?

    Thanks!
