traditional baby room ideas

Today on BHG style spotters I posted a primary hued nursery.  It’s fun, and feels nostalgic.  Go here to find the links – how fun is that banana lamp?!  Reminds me of Alison’s super cute banana bash for her son Rad’s first birthday party.

    Hi Joni,

I love your site and follow you on Pinterest! I am looking for some boy/girl twins nursery ideas and wondered if you had any? I have some ideas on my board (http://www.pinterest.com/kerstmc/nursery/), but I can’t seem to pull it all together. I’d love to hear if you have any ideas for me and other twin moms. Thanks so much! Kerstin

Very pretty and gender neutral. I love that yellow dresser! There are only two primary colors in this room though, so I definitely don’t consider it a primary pallette.

Hi Lisa! Isn’t the dresser great? You’re right – the blue isn’t a true primary blue, but it’s a play off a blue, red, and yellow color scheme. I feel like the little bit of green in it makes it a bit more fun!

I just want to add that Rad is such a cool name!

  5. Wonderful palette! The optimistic boy with balloons print is a great find. Always beautiful work. If you ever seen anything that strikes you in our line, http://www.thesnugbug.com we would be honored and call for the fainting couch!

That nursery is adorable! I’d love to see your take on a boy/girl nursery. 😉 I know you’re a busy mama, so no pressure. The babies will be in our room until we move next year so really I have a long wall to work with right now.

Hi Joni, I just love your inspiration boards. You are such a talented designer! I have been following your blog for a long time now and as well as your design ideas, I also love hearing about your girls. I have a 10 month old baby girl named Nora and I recently opened my own Etsy shop for my hoop art. I would love it if you’d check it out sometime 🙂 http://www.misstweedlecrafts.etsy.com. I also have a blog http://www.misstweedle.com. Thanks!
