eliza's dreamy retreat

with hunter baby

eliza's nurseryRecently, Holly from the newly launched adorable baby boys' line Hunter baby contacted me about featuring their products, and I said I'd be happy to highlight them because they are so darling and it's obvious Holly and Amanda will be doing big things with this company.  (More on that cuteness tomorrow).  She also sent in photos of their baby nurseries (she and Amanda had babies 10 weeks apart and were working on their rooms while also building a new company!) and the rooms are so beautiful and sweet I had to share.  Today, I am posting photos of Holly's sweet little Eliza's room.  How amazing is that chandelier?  (Sources are at the bottom of this post, and in the pink margin!)eliza's nurseryHolly said that she wanted to make Eliza's room a peaceful retreat amidst the chaos of renovating their older home, and I have to say she definitely achieved that.  It's simple, but sweet, with just the right touches and the greys and whites make it such a calming space.  The room is just shy of 10' x 12' (or 3 x 7 meters - they are in Australia!) and she did a great job of making the room feel airy and open even though it isn't very large.eliza's-nursery-4Holly said she was especially inspired by Sharon Montrose's baby animal prints, and that was the starting point for the room.  eliza's nurseryHolly is originally from Canada, so her mum asked her childhood friends and family to send Eliza a set of teddy bears - all the animals in these sweet little baskets represents a special person in her life.  They also each sent a book with a forward written to Eliza - what a sweet way to shower a friend who lives far away!eliza's-nursery-3So beautiful, Holly!  Be sure to check out Max's nursery tomorrow, and more details about Hunter baby!
