sanity savers
I'm not going to pretend that I know anything about anything when it comes to having a baby, as I am only eleven weeks in on this adventure, but I do know the first few weeks can be hard. I was a little surprised at how difficult it was. I knew we would be exhausted and overwhelmed, but I had a nice little case of the baby blues for a couple of weeks, for which I was completely unprepared. Above are a few small things that really helped me get some peace of mind and navigate through the craziness. After talking with other new moms, it seems like the consensus is that anywhere from the first two to eight weeks (depending on who you talk to) are bound to be the biggest challenge, but it seems that once baby starts smiling back at you, it gets consistently more fun!
