Nursery Inspiration Board; Boy's Nursery Style Board

Every time we go to Scott’s, I stop by to look at an old metal propeller that has yet to be purchased.  One of these days, I hope to make it mine.  It always inspires me, and I think it would make an interesting centerpiece for a baby boy’s nursery.  Coupled with some snapshots of a great-grandfather in his WWII Air Force days, it would be perfection.  Included in this style board are some other pieces to coordinate (you can find the links in the margin to the right – I’m in love with those metal letters!).

No. 9 Craft Idea: Consider creating a mobile of tiny paper cranes or paper planes as a tribute to flight.  Or hang a grouping with fishing line over a changing table or crib.

Where did the big metal letter come from?

  • Lay Baby Lay

Hi Madisson! The metal letter is from Urban Outfitters – there is a link directly to it in the margin!

I’m a pilot momma and we’re hoping to start on baby #3 soon, I adore this. My 3-year-old son has a Jeep room, my 2-year-old daughter has a bicycle room and now (maybe) we can do airplanes…so cute! Great job!

Hi – just found your blog today – too cute!  Have you seen the vintage airplane mobile from Restoration Hardware – it would be so perfect for this room!
