When you have toddlers in the house, safety is a top priority.  The holiday season is no exception, especially with the added decor everywhere!

With a toddler underfoot, I keep our tree very kid friendly.  All the ornaments are unbreakable, and safe for them to hang and remove (see this post for more details about some of my favorite kid-friendly decor!).  

I mean, just look at her.  She is out to make trouble, sweet little thing!

And while Ellie can't open the door to the laundry/mudroom on her own, I still make sure it remains toddler proof by placing all the detergents, cleaners, and liquid laundry packets on the topmost shelf so there is no chance she can get her hands on them.
