Sometimes trying to decorate for the different seasons can feel so overwhelming!  I have found myself giving in a little more, though, each year as my girls get more into it, and get excited about a little extra festive-ness around the house.

I like keeping things more cute than creepy, so here is my attempt at a festive fall/halloween mantel. The girls LOVED the googly eyes on the pumpkins last year, so I was happy to revisit that, and I created that Harry Potter inspired flag for some extra fun (you can find it in my etsy shop!).

I also picked some bare branches to put in a vase and added a little bit of spider webbing, and threw a white sheet over the papier mache crane.  Super easy.  Hope that helps some of you that might feel a bit overwhelmed!!  (And, p.s. check out my instagram for a giveaway of those HP flags!!)
